Regarding credit card donations, Food Bank of Alaska works with SafeSave for every transaction. To fulfill these transactions, it is necessary that the third party has your correct name, business (if applicable), address, credit card number, and expiration date. The third-party entity’s firewalls and encryption technology are state-of-the-art and provide the highest levels of security to ensure the confidentiality of your transaction.

For monthly donors making recurring electronic donations with a credit card, Food Bank of Alaska works with SafeSave to enact automatic deductions from your credit card, per your authorization and specifications. 

Food Bank of Alaska employees, agents, and contractors who have access to personal information are required to protect the data pursuant to the Privacy Policy.

All data and processing of online donations are encrypted and transmitted via a secure Internet connection and are processed using Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI)-compliant methods. A Level 1 PCI-Certified Gateway securely stores data, and no credit card numbers are stored online.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Information about Children

Food Bank of Alaska does not knowingly collect any Personal Information from or about a child without consent from the child’s parent(s) or guardian(s). We do not knowingly mail any fundraising solicitations to minors.
